The Long Lunar Eclipse

eclipse-7.jpg

It's always amazing to view an eclipse and this one on July 28 that started just after 4am my time and ended just as the sun woke up at 7:25am was battle with the clouds. I headed out with a fellow photographer to the One Tree Hill Lookout to watch the show.

In the photos below you can see how much cloud cover there was. for the little over 3 hours we were there only a handful of good shooting opportunities where the clouds cleared just enough to allow the moon to be visible.

So my new Olympus OM-D EM-1 MKII IBIS is insane, I did have a tripod but didn't use it as I was having no issues shooting at speeds of 1/3 sec at 150mm! Loving this camera more and more.
