Crazy Weather
After an amazing warm spring day on Friday that reached 22-23 degrees, the weather changed.
On Saturday I wish I paid attention to what the weather was doing, all I knew is that it was going to be a little wet. Turns out storms were forecast and at some point (I missed it) one of the longest hail storms that I can remember from what the evidence left around the yard outside.
These first four photos were captured on my phone, a Google Pixel 2.
Before the hail storm I headed up to a location I like to shoot from that allows for great view, the One Tree Hill Lookout, to hopefully see and capture a storm front and/or some amazing cloud formations.
I didn’t get to there early enough and the blue skies started to appear again with the rain moving further away in the distance to the east.
These next bunch of photos (including the final four at sunset) were shot with the Olympus OM-D EM-1 MKII with the 7-14mm and the 40-150mm and for the aerial photos the DJI Mavic Pro
Somewhere between the drive home the and One Tree Hill Lookout the hail storm hit and it wasn’t until I got close to home that rooftops looked like they had snow on them. I missed the entire event! :(
