Hand Held Long Exposures

I ran an Advanced Photography workshop in Bendigo a few days back and both my normal sized tripods were in use by students which left me to either use my Manfrotto Pixi which I carry with my all the time as it is very small or try to push the exposure time while hand holding and rely mostly on the IBIS on the Olympus OM-D EM-1 MKII.

What I’ve noticed is that the image is pretty good toward the middle of the frame but at the edges it is a little blurry probably due to how wide the lens is and movement at the edges is a lot more than that in the middle!

So if I was to try this again with either the same lens but zoomed to 12-14mm or just use my 12-40mm at 12mm the edges should have less blur on the edges.
